3D File Licences

1. What you get

• One GLB file for each size you have: the garment as we sewed it in 3D, at full resolution, in metres, with its thickness, rib, drawcords and topstitching, laid out to print on, with a material for each colour it is sold in.
• Not the sewing pattern, the construction, the fabric data or the body it was sewn on.
• Each File is made for its licence. It names the licence, the order and these terms inside it, and it carries a mark of its own that tells us which licence it came from.
• A licence is not a sale. We keep the ownership of the Files and every right in them that these licences do not give you.

2. The Standard licence

• Who: one person, or one business with an annual revenue under US$100,000.
• What you may do: use the File commercially in your own pictures, video, listings, product pages and ads, in any number of projects, anywhere, for as long as you like.
• Where the File stays: with you, on the computers you use. People who work for you on your projects may use it there too.

3. The Extended licence

• Who: a team or a company of any size.
• What you may do: everything the Standard licence allows, and use the model inside something other people get: an app, a game, augmented reality or virtual try-on, templates or mockup packs for sale, or work for a client. What others get must not let them take the File out as a file of its own; a client gets your pictures, not the File.
• Where the File stays: with your company and the people working for it.

4. What neither licence allows

• Sharing, publishing, selling, renting or giving away the File, or any file made from it, as a 3D file.
• Offering it as a template, a stock asset or a part of an asset pack, except inside a mockup pack under the Extended licence as Section 3 describes.
• Taking a sewing pattern or cut template from it.
• Using it in a dataset for, or in the training, fine-tuning or testing of, any machine-learning or generative AI model.
• Using it in a mockup generator, a SaaS product or an API that lets others put their designs on the garment. These are licensed by contract only: write to us.
• Removing or changing the notice in the File, or its mark.

5. Every size

A licence for every size of a garment covers each size we sell of it, including sizes we add later. When we improve a size's File, its link gives you the new one.

6. The free model

Your first File is free with an account: one size of one garment, under the Standard licence, on these terms. There is one for each person.

7. Paying, refunds and withdrawal

Polar Software, Inc. sells the Files for us as the merchant of record. It takes the payment and the tax and sends the receipt. Before you pay, you ask us to send the File as soon as you have paid. If you are a Consumer in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you then lose your right to withdraw from the purchase once the File is sent (Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(m), and its UK equivalent). This does not affect your rights if a File is faulty: if it does not open, or is not the garment and size it names, write to us within 30 days and we will send a working File or refund you. A refund ends the licence.

8. When a licence ends

A licence ends if it is refunded or if you break it. You must then delete every copy of the File. Pictures and videos you made with it while the licence was in force, within it, may stay where they are.

9. The File is a simulation

The File is the garment as we sewed it on a computer, from the maker's published facts. It is not a measurement of a real garment and does not promise how one fits, hangs or looks. Section 7 of our Terms of Service applies to the Files as to our other Outputs.
